New Wallpaper! Santa Teresa de Lisieux

Hi there everyone! A friend of mine called Theresa asked me if I could make her a wallpaper... and as some might know... OF COURSE I SAID YES!

I opened Photoshop and created the wallpaper... and SHE LOVED IT!
so she asked me to adapt it into a Twitter Background for her Twitter Page and SHE LOVED IT!
Finally, she asked for an avatar that included the wallpaper and her face and I was so excited that I DID IT TOO AND SHE LOVED IT!

Yeah, I know, a little TOO excited there with the "LOVED IT" It's just that I'm really happy because that is actually my 1st request... =)
Anyway, here are the wallpaper and the Twitter BG. (The avatar is not displayed to protect her privacy)

Coming Back Stronger than Ever...!

Hey folks… remember how I said I would be back? well, I said that I WAS Back! And here I am! =D

I even feel stronger than before and I’m coming to stay… thank God I have a vacation week atm so I should be able to keep you updated and advance on my many, many, many projects… (oh and did I mention they’re all FREE!)

Día del Niño en CEUTEC La Ceiba

Sábado 11 de Septiembre de 2010 - La sede de la Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana, UNITEC, en La Ceiba, mejor conocida como CEUTEC, celebró hoy el día del niño en esta ciudad.
 La celebración comenzó a las 12:00pm en las instalaciones de este centro educativo. Los alumnos de la carrera de Administración I, como encargados de esta celebración, nos presentamos puntuales listos para recibir a los niños desde la fundación "Niños de la Luz". Luego de darles la bienvenida por parte de UNITEC, los niños pudieron disfrutar de pizza, alitas de pollo y refresco mientras conversaban con sus amiguitos.
  
Una vez que los niños terminaron su refrigerio, subieron al "Trensito de la Alegría" y recorrieron la ciudad de La Ceiba mientras los estudiantes de la carrera de Administración I se trasladaron a al parque Bonilla a preparar las actividades del resto de la tarde: piñatas, entrega de regalos y partir el pastel.

Al final, los niños se fueron muy contentos y satisfechos luego de un espectacular día del niño.

EARTH HOUR - HONDURAS

For all that the world has given us, 60 MINUTES to help it seem little.

 Even though many thought only the big cities and countries would participate, Honduras was an active part of 60 EARTH HOUR in favor of a better world thanks to WWF.

From 8:30 pm (Local hour) to 9:30 pm, buildings turned all their lights off while the population held candles and even formed 60s on the ground with them.

In La Ceiba, the great event took place in UNITEC-CEUTEC's parking lot with a very active schedule which included: A tribute to Don Eulogio Palacios, father of the Palacios football players that have played in known European teams and will be playing on the South Africa World Cup 2010.

After this, the Champion of the First Oratory Contest "Hablando Claro" 2010, Nicole Bardales, recited her winning speech on stage which topic is: "Medio Ambiente y Contaminación" (Enviroment and Pollution). The intention of the speech was to create conscience in society: earth needs us!

MagicBox dancers were an active part too showing all their moves as they danced to the rhythm of known songs to the public.

And one of the most attractive shows was the one of the bikers, men in motorcycles (Harley Davidson style) performed stunts and made noise in name of Earth Hour! The most remarkable part is that children formed this group too and that they did not pollute the environment.

An amazing number of people attender this worldwide event showing that they believe we can still make a difference and our world one step at a time.
